Please listen to Jeremiah Wright entire message. He was saying in a nice context on the whole. It's pointless to take part of what Jeremiah Wright says and take what's that part for the whole thing. It was a positive sermon and negative parts were said to make the sermon have some contrast for a better and more positive message

There are very many reasons (from both sides of the political aisle I may add) why God may decide to damn America. Be it an unjust war in Iraq or the killing of our own babies, I'm sure God won't struggle to find a reason to damn us. And if he wasn't so loving, he would. In 18 days, we will get the caring President we need to start cleaning up the mess of the last 8 years.

What you and the rest of the ignorant neocons don't understand is the fact that making abortion illegal doesn't correct the problem. Shooting up heroin is illegal. Does that mean people don't do it?
