| It's not a myth. It depends on the alarm system and remote. For obvious reasons, IR alarm remotes won't work. However, sonic and subsonic alarm remotes WILL work, and I have done it. |

| You're probably leaving other variables out. You also have to know where the sensor is that senses the soundwaves. For some, it is in the door. For others its underneath, in the dash, or under the hood. Hold one up to the phone and one up to the sensor, and it will work. Quality of the phones used is also a factor. Also, try putting your phones on speakerphone. It increases microphone sensitivity and increases loudspeaker volume. |
